Questions parents ask

A few things to know before you book.

More questions are answered on the Q&A page.

When should my child be assessed for braces?

Most children can be evaluated by age 7. Early assessment detects alignment issues and lets treatment be planned at the right time rather than the urgent one.

How young can treatment start?

Myobrace can be used from as young as 4 years old, and Myochew from 2. Whether either is appropriate is a question for the assessment.

Do you offer Invisalign and clear aligners?

Yes. Clear aligners including Invisalign are offered, and an iTero scanner is used. Whether aligners suit a particular case is decided at the assessment.

Does an assessment mean my child will need braces?

No. An assessment can conclude that nothing is needed, or that the right course is to monitor and review later. You will be told which, and why.

Does my insurance cover orthodontic treatment?

Coverage depends on your insurer, your plan and the treatment. Tell reception your insurer when you arrange the appointment and they will confirm your cover before you arrive.
