Is your insurer on the list?
We bill fifteen insurers directly. What a policy actually pays for differs from plan to plan, and between our pediatric and dental departments, so we check yours with your insurer before the visit.
Who we bill directly
Listed alphabetically, by department — the agreements are not the same on both sides. Finding your insurer here means we can bill them directly. What your own plan covers is a separate question, and that is the one we check for you.

How direct billing works here
Most of it happens before you arrive.
- You give us the insurer’s nameWhen you book, tell reception which insurer you hold and which department you need — pediatrics, dentistry or orthodontics.
- We check the policyThe eligibility check happens ahead of the appointment, not at the front desk with a child on your arm.
- You bring the cardThe physical card or the one in your insurer’s app, with your child’s Emirates ID or passport and yours.
If a treatment isn’t covered
Cover is rarely all or nothing, and none of it has to be worked out at the desk on the day.
- Part-covered treatment
- A plan may exclude one treatment and meet part of the cost of another. Ask reception to go through it with you before anything is booked.
- Split it into four
- Anything you pay yourself can be paid in four instalments with Tabby, rather than in one go on the day.
- An insurer we don’t bill
- You can still be seen. Say so when you book, so the payment side is settled before the day rather than on it.
Questions about cover
The questions reception hears most.
More questions are answered on the Q&A page.
My insurer is on the list. Am I covered?
Not automatically. The list is the insurers we can bill directly. What your own plan pays for depends on the policy you hold, and that is the part we check with your insurer before your visit.
Why would cover differ between pediatrics and dentistry?
They are separate departments with separate agreements, and many plans treat medical and dental benefits differently. An insurer we bill on one side is not automatically one we bill on the other, so tell us which department you need and we will check that side of it.
My insurer isn’t listed. Can I still be seen?
Yes. Being seen and being billed through insurance are two different things. Call reception on 04 430 5926, tell them your insurer, and they can tell you where you stand before you book.
Do I need my insurer’s approval first?
Some plans ask for approval before certain treatments. Mention it when you book so it can be raised with your insurer in advance rather than on the day.
What do I need to bring on the day?
Your insurance card, physical or digital, plus your child’s Emirates ID or passport and yours. The full first-visit list is on our new patients page.
Tell us your insurer when you book.
Give reception the name on your card and the department you need. We check the policy before your appointment.
